Can anyone help me?
help???
Well, that pretty much describes every hotel listed to the left of your screen. Take a few minutes to check some of them out (and maybe read thru these other posts).
Do you have teens or young kids, do you want a quiet section of beach, or closer to the ';action';, how much do you want to pay? Big resort or small hotel?
Let us know and we will try to help some more.
help???
11 year old.
We want to be close to shops, restaurants etc. but aren%26#39;t going there looking to party.
Flexible with size of hotel/resort.
Thanks!
With an 11 year old, I%26#39;m sure you would want some type of waterpark area at the hotel too?? Like a lazy river...etc? Some ideas that come to mind are Sands Resort at 77th Ave N or The Monteray Suites...both of these properties are in the Avenues area of MB, great beachfront here, some restaurants within walking distance, others within a short drive. Shopping anywhere from 2 to 10 miles (bus service is available)
The Sea Island is just getting ready to reopen May 1st...REALLY nice! Soutwinds is also nice (both these still in the Avenue section)
The Breakers or the Camelot (this is more at the north end of the downtown area). Short walk to shopping the Blvd stores (t-shirts, arcades, ice cream, and THE GAY DOLPHIN -- great store full of everything!) and not a far drive to Broadway at the Beach
Going south of the Pavilion Amusement Park would be Coral Beach (looks of stuff to do on property) or the Hampton Inn Oceanfront...
You may want to check out the great maps on our local bus system website...it lists a number of these hotels on the map:

And as beachlady said, a great place to start is by checking out the reviews off to the left! Hope all this helps! :)

Beautiful 2 bedroom suites and the cleanest in MB.
Ocean Creek which is on the boarder of MB and North MB is really nice. Has an indoor pool, hot tub, multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, beach access, etc. The complex is across the street from Barefoot Landing, which has plenty of shops and restuarants.
