mid-june trip NO KIDS... help?

Lived in MB during a year stay at CCU in 98-99, have returned every year since (except last when we got married) with the girlfriend/fiance/wife... stayed at a number of hotels on the strip including 2 Days Inns, a Holiday Inn and the Yachtsman Hotel, which I understand is in construction right now (too bad because we%26#39;d definitely return, loved it)

Anywho... we%26#39;re looking for a place on the strip that is uhm... %26#39;couple friendly%26#39; (i guess the opposite of family friendly?) - we%26#39;d like the hotel to be clean, are not necessarily interested in a pool/lazy river (again, looking for a place that doesn%26#39;t really cater to families/kids), and has thick walls, as we tend to enjoy making love at all times of the day. Might as well not beat around the bush there....hey, we%26#39;re still in our 20%26#39;s give us a break :-)

During our former visits we were most concerned about being near the center of the strip (20th N thru 1st S) but nowadays we really dont care, so anywhere from I%26#39;d say about 40-50th N thru 10-20th S would be preferrable. Across the street from the beach is fine, as is oceanfront, but we%26#39;d prefer not to pay a premium for the view if we don%26#39;t have to as we are pretty sure we know what the ocean looks like by now.

Anyone who can help with an ideal destination for our needs would be most appreciated - our stay will be from June 10th thru June 18th.

The Hampton Inn Oceanfront is really a nice property towards the sound end...or you may try the Best Western Grand Strand. Both of those towards the south end. As for 40th to 50th Ave north...no hotels from 40th to 50th N...most of the north Blvd hotels start right about 51st (Southwind is beautiful!) Monterary Bay Suites is nice too, or across the street from beach there is the Mariner..cute and cozy, or how about the Serendipity Inn (Its a B%26amp;B) about 2 blocks to the beach off about 71st Ave N.

And, hey...enjoy! I know I would if I were still in my 20%26#39;s! ha! :)
