Please help me decide between Coral Beach and Caribbean...

Help! I%26#39;m planning a trip to Myrtle with my husband three sons ages 8,6 and 2. I can%26#39;t decide between Coral Beach and Caribbean Resorts. Has anyone stayed at one or both of these? I want something fun for the kids and clean. The only other place I';ve stayed at in Myrtle was the Caravelle and it was OK. Advice?

The Caribbean is still undergoing some major renovations. And it looks like they wont make deadlines and pretty much be 1/2 a building most of the season (they are still open).

As for Coral Beach, the property has had mixed reviews, but as far as amenities, it has it all! The pool area is really great, a number of kids actvities. The hotel isnt too far from any ';away from the beach'; fun.

Have a great time! :)

We stayed at the Coral Beach Resort last sept. I found the resort to be very clean...everyday you could see someone cleaning something....from early in the morning the pool guys out cleaning the pools and the grounds to someone who%26#39;s only job it seemed was to keep the elevator clean. We had an oceanfront room with beautiful views up and down the beach. Lots of kid stuff from the lazy river lots of outdoor pools and spas to the kiddie playroom with a jungle gym to climb on simular to the ones at fast food places...an arcade and a bowling alley. We even got 3 free nights for our next stay at checkout. But everyone has the own opinions an expectations. Wherever you choose though you can%26#39;t go too wrong because to me Myrtle Beach is the best place for a vacation! Have a wonderful time!

I agree with DClady. I would pick Coral Beach becasue they have everything to do for kids and even adults. It is also VERY clean.
