I have been to myrtle beach 2 summers in a row. We have stayed at super 8 hotel at barefootlanding in north myrtle beach. It was nice for the price. The first summer in 2004, we just wanted something cheap. We went in september. A last minute thing. We liked it. Then summer 2005, we went in august. I would stay their again, but for 2006, we want to try something different. (ocean front or close to it, children%26#39;s activities, kitchen w/ stove and fridge, bigger pools) Money is not a issue for this time around, I would just like something nice since this will be our third summer going. We have 3 kids 4, 6, and 9. I really want them to have a great time. Anyone with any options please help!
hotel to stay at with 3 kids
The last 2 years, I have stayed with my family (wife and 2 kids, 6 and 4) at the Kingston Plantation resort. It is not the cheapest place in Myrtle beach but it does have great amenities. They have townhouses which are back away from the beach area, but also 2,3 and 4 bedroom condos right by the water. If you can afford it, try the Margate tower, if not the Brighton tower is almost as good. Both have their own private pool - (you have to be staying in that particular tower to use them). They are right on the beach front, and have 2 good size pools, plus a childrens water park. They have some water slides, a lazy river, giant water bucket etc. Our kids loved it. They have plenty of lifeguards on hand so safety is not an issue, and they grade kids by height as to what they can go on, on their own. Do a google search and check out their website. We are going back next August for our 3rd year! Hope this helps a little.

This is the perfect place for kids and it is Coral Beach Resort. There is many many things to do. THey have a large indoor pool, 2 outdoor, lazy river, children jungle gym, arcade bowling alley, resturants, gift shop, and for the adults, comedy club, karoke bar, gym, men and women saunas. The rooms are very roomy and clean. There is no need to leave the hotel for anything because everything is right there. Here is there website.

I hope this helps you out.
The Hampton Inn %26amp; Suites Oceanfront (hamptoninnoceanfront.com) is a gorgeous hotel, the cleanest you will find and an unbelievably friendly staff! It is rated the #1 hotel in MB and that particular Hampton Inn is rated one of the top 5 Hampton Inns in the entire nation! One of the things I love about the Hampton Inn hotel chain is if you are not 100% satisfied you do not pay! They are located on the south end of Ocean Blvd (2 miles south of the Pavilion). Their suites are magnificent! The prices are a bit high but as we know you get what you pay for. They have both 1 %26amp; 2 bedroom suites. A 1 bedroom has a king bed in the bedroom, living room where the couch pulls out into a queen bed, kitchen, a large bathroom with double sinks, a tub and a seperate marble shower,a private oceanfront balcony %26amp; 2 tvs. They also have 2 bedroom suites with either 1 bath or 2 that includes 2 seperate bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a private oceanfront balcony off of the living room (3 tvs). Those cost a bit more but every penny is worth it. The 2 bedroom suites with 1 bathroom has the same large bathroom as the 1 bedroom suites. They are beautiful...the master bedroom (which is oceanfront) has a king bed with a sliding glass door you can open so you can lay in bed and listen to the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds and in the living room the couch pulls out into a queen bed. A full hot and cold breakfast is included every morning. They also provide free high speed internet access, they have 2 computers set up if you did not bring a laptop. The hotel has 2 pools, a kiddie pool, jacuzzi and a lazy river. In June, July and August they have a free childrens program. On Thursday nights they do a ';parents night out'; which includes a pizza party, movies, games, etc. I think you will be very happy if you choose the Hampton Inn Oceanfront. Enjoy your visit to MB!
Last spring I stayed at Kingston Resort with wife and three kids aged 5-11. They loved the waterpark, multiple pools and hot tubs, and great beach close by. The whole area is a self contained resort with trails, landscaped gardens, and it is quiet. We stayed in a huge 2 br condo with kitchen, which was reasonable-about 200$ per night. It was called Windermere by the Sea. Defenitely recommend the place for families.

Sea Watch is nice and Shore Crest Villas on the beach, across from Barefoot is nice. A nice place for kids is Presidential Villas @ Plantation Resort at Surfside Beach just below Myrtle. The have large pools, lazy river, large game room and a playground. It%26#39;s a mile off the beach but has free shuttles to and from on the hour.
