April MCI Heritage week

Hello. I%26#39;ve rented a 3br at Island Links at 1 Coggins Point Rd. Can you advise if this is a good location. I just found out that the week I have is the MCI heritage week. Do you think that is a good thing or a bad thing. We%26#39;re not coming for the tourney but how will it affect our stay. Will courses and beaches and restaurants be busier or because people are at the tourney will they be quieter. Thanks for any feedback.

April MCI Heritage week

Heritage week is the busiest week of the year!!

Expect Traffic!! You will need reservations at any restaurant you%26#39;d like to go to.

That said ';Island Links'; is not near the tournament. You are in Port Royal Plantation closer to the north end of the island. The Heritage is played in Sea Pines on the south end.

If you are a golfer, you will also experience some traffic on the courses, but on the other hand most of the pro shops will have demos with the golf pros present.

BTW the MCI is being dropped, since the company was bought by Verizon. The tournament director said they will announce the new name shortly.
