North Myrtle? South Myrtle? Myrtle?

Looking for a condo -- stayed at the Breakers North Tower in the summer and liked it -- nice beach, good unit, etc. However, coming in March -- two adults, we don%26#39;t golf; just enjoying warmer non-Canadian, weather. Suggestions for a condo please. Oceanfront vital. Thanks

Are you set on Myrtle Beach? South Carolina has wonderful beaches besides Myrtle. If you want something less touristy and less people try Pawleys Island, Litchfield Beach, or take a trip to Charleston. Charleston is a great city with many nice beaches.

Thanks for the input -- I love Charleston, but it is quite pricey. Also, we really just want to relax and do ';nothing'; -- I love history, so in Charleston, that doesn%26#39;t work. Spent a week there this summer. However, could check some of the other spots you mentioned. The inexpensive nature of Myrtle is what made this jaunt possible. Thanks.

I agree that Pawleys Island is the place to go. Much less congested than the North MB area. I go for the golf, but even for non-golfers Pawleys Island is gerat. Excellent restaurants. Make sure you check out Murrell%26#39;s Inlet restaurants too.

that time of year you can get a nice place on holden beach north of myrtle about 40 miles and south of wilmington by contacting hobbs realty on holden beach. they have a web site showing both condo and homes. don%26#39;t restrict yourselves to myrtle and miss calabash seafood and the many other offerings of the area.
