Free parking with hotel stay!

Hello,

I will be taking my family on a cruise in February and will be driving to the Port of Charleston. We intend to arrive a day or two early to tour the city. Are there reasonably priced hotels that offer free parking for the length of the cruise (7) days?

Thanks,

Threebish

Most of the downtown Charleston hotels do not offer free parking due to the limit space downtown. The only hotels that come to mind that MAY offer free parking are the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Riverview (843-722-7229), Residence Inn by Marriott Charleston Riverview (843-571-7979), Springhill Suites by Marriott (843-571-1711), and Comfort Inn Riverview (843-577-2224). While all these hotels are in the downtown area, they are not within walking distance of the historic part of town but are about a 5-10 drive away. IF they offer free parking, I%26#39;m sure a taxi ride to the port would be very reasonable.

The alternative would be to check out the hotels near the airport as there is ample parking at those hotels and they MAY offer free parking for your situation. Again, a taxi ride to the port should be pretty reasonable from the airport area.

Something to keep in mind, if you are planning to be in Charleston around Feb 17-19, hotel prices will be at a premium as there is a big city-wide event taking place (Southeastern Wildlife Expo).

Enjoy your visit and safe travels!

Haven%26#39;t seen them in a while though.
