We will be in Hilton Head the first week of may. Does anyone know how close this is to the beach and what is the location ?

Marriott Surf Watch is their newest property on HHI. The pool, tiki bar, etc are located oceanside. That said, the building themselves are set a ways back from the beach because just south of this property is a tidal creek off the ocean, and the property between the buildings and the beach is marshy. It is probably a 3-4 minute walk from the buildings to the beach - certainly convenient. The beach is very pretty here, and they set up chairs and umbrellas daily on the beach for their guests. Also, that is a great week to visit the island. The weather is warm, the ocean is still very cold - but if you%26#39;re brave....

The property is located mid-island, about mile marker #7 (island is 12 miles long). Convenient to Shelter Cove, and Groceries, etc.
