Pools in April

Hi,

We will be at the plantation the second week in April. Just found out the outdoor pools are not heated. Does anyone know if they are warm in April?

warmer than in march but not quite as warm as they are in may. but seriously there is no real way to tell with out a thermometer when you arrive. good luck and i think you are gogn to need it!

We have a pool at our house at the beach, and the answer is a big no. Sorry, but it will be freezing. Our pool is heated and we have to heat it anytime we use it before June. I would switch to a hotel with an indoor pool or rent a house with a heated pool. Surfside Beach and Garden City have lots of rental houses with private pools. This is just south of Myrtle. Respond if you would like some rental company names.

Wow, thank you. We%26#39;ll be with 4 kids ages 9, 10, 12, 13 and if they can%26#39;t swim it%26#39;s no vacation! We would like to be in the location of the plantation. Last year we stayed at the Beach Cove and I believe there pool was heated. We like that side of Myrtle, close to boardwalk and the pier. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks again.

Look at seasiderentalsonline.com to see luxury homes most with privite heated pools. You will have to request (and possibly pay a fee) to have the pool heated. These homes are all in the Surfside/Garden City area of the Grand Strand. Off season rates are CHEAP! This is only 15 mins to Coastal Grand Mall and Broadway at the Beach area. Less crowded mores family type beach but close enought to enjoy the stuff at Myrtle and the restaurants of Murrells Inlet. Dunes Realty, Garden City Realty and Surfside Realty also have some homes with pools.
