Is there a boardwalk in Myrtle Beach, and how long is it? Are there hotels located along the boardwalk? we are looking for a kid friendly, oceanfront hotel with an outdoor pool (preferably with rooms that have an effiecency kitchen) thanks!

No, there is not your traditional Boardwalk. The Beach front motels/hotels are right on the beach and extend all the way back from the beach to the street. There%26#39;s nothing between them and the ocean. Most of them have pools of various sizes for both children and adults.

Other hotels are across the street from this row of beach front hotels with public walkways to the beach. You should be able to easily find a room with an effiecency kitchen. Just click on the names on the list to the left of this page.

Hey Lancaster...check where I%26#39;m from (but down here we pronounce it LANC-as-ter, not Lang-CAS-ter) pop. about 60,000.

Anyway, almost every beachfront hotel has at least a pool if not a whole complex (lazy river, spas, etc.) %26amp; in some a standard room comes with mini-fridge %26amp; micro, or you can upgrade to kitchenette with dining room, etc.

Forest Dunes on 55th has 1 and 3 bedroom units with great views from the 6th floor on up to 18th. The 1 bedrooms are very spacious and have stoves ,full size refrigerators ,dishwashers and micro waves.

Hi! The Boardwalk Beachfront Hotel and The Caribbean Resort are both oceanfront, have multiple water activities for the kids (lazy river, indoor pool etc.) as well as multiple outdoor pools. They both also offer eficiencies with kitchens and separate sitting areas. Neither one are 4 star, but I have stayed at both and found them to be clean and decent and we had a great time at both. The Boardwalk is also located within walking distance of several restaurants, River City Cafe and The Noizy Oyster. I am sure there are others, but these are just two that I have stayed in.
