suggested resorts 3-4 hrs from Atlanta

Hi, I wonder if you can help?

I%26#39;m coming over to Atlanta in March and I%26#39;m looking for a resort within a 3-4hr drive of Hartsfield Jackson Airport to spend a relaxing couple of days before work.

Somehwere quiet, golf nearby, and ideally a spa for my partner. But I don%26#39;t think we%26#39;d have time to drive to the coastal areas - any suggestions?

savannah isn%26#39;t but about 4 hours from the atl airport. which opens up hilton head island. charleston isn%26#39;t but a hard 4.5 hours from atlanta either. good luck!

Just north of Atlanta in Braselton is Chateau Elan. It is a marvelous resort with golf, a winery, a European style luxury hotel with great food, and a fabulous spa. It%26#39;s about a 30 minute drive from ATL.

Also - to the east of Atlanta ( less than an hour) is Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation. Comparable amenities and possibly the best spa I%26#39;ve ever been to.

chateau elan is an easy trip from atlanta%26#39;s airport right up[ i-85 north all of 60 miles. they have marvelous spa facilities, championship golf and a variety of accommadations from king room to 5 star villa. all on the same property are equistrian facility, the winery, and fine dining. the mountains are an easy day trip. check out their web site for more info and bring your checkbook.

don%26#39;t even think about Savannah, Hilton Head or Charleston. Long, hard boring drive.
