Has anyone stayed there?

Marriott at Shelter Cove

While I have not stayed there. I have been in the villas. You will have a knockout view of sunset over Broad Creek.

The villas are clean and very roomy. While a Marriott property, Marriott did not develop these. They are very nice, and you will get the same amenities that aare available in the other Marriott properties on the island. When my friends stayed there Van Der Meer Tennis used to send a pro to provide lessons and tennis activities wach day. Golfer can play at two of the Palmetto Dunes Courses, and some other courses both on and off the island.

Shelter Cove is a collection of Shops, and restaurants by s Marina. You can walk to the Arts Center with it%26#39;s theatrical productions, and other attractions. You are also near Shelter Cove park which has community activities most weekends.

What you don%26#39;t have is the beach. You will have to drive to Folly Field or The Forest Beach Area for a beach experience, I believe.
