Garden City Beach Myrtle

Has anyone stayed at condos at Garden City Beach - south of Myrtle? Looking for a condo that is clean, quiet, and well kept. Do not need luxury accommodations, but want to make sure we don%26#39;t end up with a dump either! Comments would be appreciated.

Very nice area. Try Dunes or Garden City Realty. Lots of selections/pictures on their web sites. Well managed. North Myrtle is also nice, and we use Elliot Realty to find accomodations up there.

As someone mentioned North Myrtle Beach is nice ,the problem you can have there is when you get out to 17 which can be a traffic nightmare during the 5 or 6 weeks of summer. The area of Myrtle between 55th and 79th is IMO a better choice.Great central location and easy to reach Grissom Parkway and 17 Bypass.Hotels with good reputations in that section are Long Bay, Grande Shores, and Forest Dunes.

surfsiderealty.com also has lots of condo%26#39;s in Garden City. We love Garden City and Surfside!

We stayed in a condo complex called Water%26#39;s Edge in Garden City. They have a really nice sundeck, and indoor and outdoor pool, an outdoor jacuzzi, an outdoor tiki bar, a hotdog/hamburger joint, and an another indoor dressier bar on the ground floor. Lots of families and couples stay there. Unit 304 was really pretty (new furnishings, clean, etc). We rented from Dunes Realty (dunes.com), had a great experience, and would definitely return when we visit Garden City again.
