Bike Week

I%26#39;m looking to come down during bike week this year. How are things laid out for bike week? Is everything in one area, or spread out? Would it mattered where I stayed?

Also, do you know anything about the Bay Watch hotel? What about the Schooner II Beach/Racquet Club?

Bike Week

Everyting is spread out during bike week. They ride all over MB but a lot of the events are at Broadway at the Beach and all of the vendors set up around the Harley shop on Business 17. Suck, Bang %26amp; Blow in Murrells Inlet always has a lot of stuff going on there as well.

Bike Week

The Bay Watch is towards the south end of Myrtle Beach. There is a Schooner II at about 21st Ave N, and then a Schooner Beach %26amp; Racquet at about 71st Ave N. The 21st Ave N area is a decent area close to a number of restaurants/bars (Bummz at the Beach, Papa%26#39;s, River City, SoHo, Dirty Don%26#39;s, Flying Fish..to name a few) and not far to Broadway at the Beach. The area at 71st has a really great beach area, is a bit quieter, close enough to things.

As for bike week...we have 2! If you are talking about Harley week, most of the action takes place in Murrells Inlet (about 20 minutes south, on good traffic days!)the Convention Center on Oak and 21st, Broadway at the Beach (a number of vendors!), Barefoot Landing and Colonial Mall (yep, pretty spreadout) If you are talking about Atlantic Beach Bike Festival, most of the events take place in Atlantic Beach (in between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach), they do have some events at the Convention Center and a bit at Broadway. Both groups do ride alot when they are here, so if you like to ';people and bike watch'; if really wouldnt matter where you stayed. :)
