CELLULAR / WIRELESS services in Myrtle Beach

Just wondering what residents find to be the best wireless company in the area...

I will be relocating to MB soon, and we use wireless phones as our only phones, so coverage is the most important thing to us.

We have Verizon now, and it is hands down the absolute best in western PA, so going along with that- it%26#39;s who everybody we talk to has and it%26#39;s %26#39;in-network calling%26#39; is a huge plus for us.

But it seems verizon is a lot newer down there than it is here and perhaps not as well established.

So lets hear it Verizon, Cingular, Sprint, Alltel??????

try not to be biased, we all like to think what we have is the best, but its not always!!

I personally have SunCom as my cell phone provider. I have used them for about 9 years and am very happy with their service. I pay one price and get unlimited minutes anytime, anywhere and get good reception as well.

We visit Myrtle Beach every year and have AllTel and never have had a problem anywhere down there while we visit.

we go to MBeach every spring, we have Cingular and have never had any problems. Great coverage area.

Verizon has recently offered wireless service in the area, so not for sure how efficient their system is. We have had Cingular for it seems forever, and are real pleased with the service.

I had Sprint for 5 years, usually no problem with coverage along the beach, not good inland.

I%26#39;ve had Verizon for the last year, good along the beach, better than Sprint inland.
