Hotel help please.............

I am a travel agent and sadly I need hotel help. I just got back from Turks and Caicos, and I relied on Trip Advisor for that and was so happy. Nothing like getting the info first hand.

Anyway, my Mom and Dad are going to Myrtle Beach and want an moderate property to stay for a couple of weeks. Here is the criteria.

1. Does not have to be on the beach, can be across the street.

2. Has to be smoking (Mom is 75 and has no intentions to quit)

3. They want an efficiency (kitchen)

I checked out the Best Western Strand for them, but they do not have any 1 bedroom suites, or even efficiencies with sitting areas in the smoking section.

So, if anyone knows of any place first hand I would appreciate it.

I%26#39;m not sure about the smoking thing and this place is NOT a hotel. Try Ocean Creek in North Myrtle. It has Garden Homes, Tennis Villas, Lodge Villas and the North and South Tower on the beach. The Garden homes are great! I stayed in a two bedroom and my wife smokes. The place had a fire-place and a sun room. She smoked outside as she did not want to smell the place up. Some of these are rented by owner.

Try Sandy Beach Resort. I absolutely love this hotel. (www.beachtrips.com) ask for magnolia building. Such nice staff, great housekeeping and such a nice place.Also great rates, oceanfront,and has full kitchens some with washer and dryer in room.

Just giving you a heads up DO NOT STAY AT BEACH COLONY RESORT! Everything was nice there excpet for the parking garage and the maids were HORRIBLE! Iwould stay at the Marriot because it is really nice it is great actaully! I hope u have fun I am going with my family in the summer next year sometime and I know it is going to be great! HAVE FUN!!

I love Caicos as well, any tips for a first time travel from Canada.

Whether to book a resort or a condo, best time to go (quiet places, nice beaches; good food),

You must check out the Hampton Oceanfront.....it is for families. The area is designed that when your parents step out of the back of the lobby, you only have to walk a few steps and you are on the beach. They do have smoking rooms which is becoming more rare everyday. The free breakfast is wonderful in a beautiful dining area. Read the reviews,,,,it is rated no 1. Once you stay here, it is hard to stay anyplace else.

I totally agree with the previous poster-the Hampton Inn Oceanfront is your best bet. It is one of the nicest Hampton Inns that there is and is rated the #1 hotel in Myrtle Beach by Trip Advisor. Coral BEach resort has smoking rooms and 1 bedroom condos with a roomy bedroom, kitchen fully loaded, a huge bathroom and living room, a balcony out off the bedroom and a huge one out the living room. It is also the cleanest place in Myrtle Beach. Here is there website.
