Need Oceanfront room for June 2006

1st of all is it possible to get an oceanfront room for only 1 nite in june? My wife and I want to spend our anniversary in Mrytle Beach before going to Wilmington to see family. What is a nice hotel that has a oceanfront view with a price range around $150 or less. Im not sure what area of Mrytle Beach I want it in, I have heard that broadway at the beach has alot of things to do. I guess it don%26#39;t matter the location as long its on the ocean.

Its great to stay at the beach when visiting here! I love being able to wake up and see the ocean, then to sit at your balcony and watch the moon rise over the water...wow! And especially on your anniversary...

A number of hotels do have minimum stay requirements at different times in June. We do have our annual Sun Fun Festival during the first week of June, and then with Senior weeks and beginning of summer season you may have to do a bit of research to find something for 1 night especially if its on a weekend. Hampton Inn OF is always a great choice (check out some of their reviews) as is The Mariott at Grande Dunes, Long Bay, Ocean Reef..to name just a few. Not sure if any of these would fall in that $150 per night or less. The Sheraton at the Convention Center is a really nice property. Of course they arent ocean front, but they do have a number of rooms that do have ';ocean views'; (they are a bit over 2 blocks to the beach). A number of their rooms do have balconies, I think they are called king mini suites...and they may fall more into the price category you are looking for. A great room too! Real plush..and huge! This hotel is close to Broadway at the Beach too....check out www.broadwayatthebeach.com for more info. Its a great place to spend your evenings. Shopping, dining and entertainment all in one! A fantastic romantic dinner at the Library would be a great start to the evening! Congrats on the anniversary and have a great time!
