first timer - golf and ocean view

I need some help with this one. I am planning a surprise trip for my husband. We like to golf and I really want an oceanfront condo or room. Any suggestions?

You can probably get the best deal by booking a golf package (which includes accommodations %26amp; sometimes meals %26amp; other bonuses). Some of the bigger resorts have staff who specialize in booking golf outings %26amp; know the current conditions %26amp; can get preferred tee-times, etc. They are a wealth of knowledge.

I have noticed that Long Bay Resort (which is in the north end of MB) has consistently gotten rave reviews from golf groups both for their great packages as well as their accommodations, but there are certainly many other choices.

If you love golf you will love MB!

Ihave been golfing in M.B. for over 20 years.Lots of variables involved in choosing your golf courses.Price, travel time, best courses for high or low handicaper, courses with no housing etc.In the summer theres really no need to use a golf booking package.Theres deals like play Witch ,Wizard, and Man o War for $105 cart and green fee included. Or Tidewater,Pine Lakes, and Myrtlewood for $155.If your interested in a nice peaceful oceanfront location try Forest Dunes on 55th and Ocean Blvd. You can email me at shorecrestking@aol.com and I would be glad to help.

You didnt say what time of year you are planning for...but you may try the Mariott at Grande Dunes. The concierge staff there are great! Check with Scott -- he is a golf master! and if you need help with your swing...he%26#39;s a good one for advice. He knows his courses...and the game! They can arrange for your play at the new course at Grande Dunes...the Members Club (private course, but they are allowed booking privilges there)
