Looking possibly for a beach house or two condos! Any help would be great! We are having some trouble finding somewhere to stay with that many people!

Do you have to stay right in Myrtle Beach or would you like paradise?

We have vacationed since 1999 at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. It is 15 minutes over the border, only 20 minutes from North Myrtle, 40 from Myrtle Beach.

We like OIB because it is quiet, family oriented. You can take the quick drive for the ';crazy'; and return home to peace and quiet. The beaches are uncrowed, houses are anywhere from small cottages, to bigger, to small condos, to 1 high rise on the island.

I would never stay in downtown Myrtle after finding this place.

Both of the above ideas of Sunset and Ocean Isle Beach are good ones and they are good places for making a couple of jaunts. Not as much to do other than the ocean and maybe a pool but it%26#39;s close enough to Myrtle/NMB to drive in for the entertainment. The traffic is much better during the peak season but if it%26#39;s a good beach (and these are), there%26#39;s going to be a lot of people. Another vacation spot that you could try sometime that%26#39;s even further away from the crowd may be Hatteras Island or the Corolla area. Many, many beach houses with 5-10 bedrooms and 5-7 baths. Most have a private pool, basketball goals or tennis courts, 8-10 person hot tubs, game rooms with pool tables and video games, etc. but it%26#39;s not near Myrtle and is a different vacation. I%26#39;m from NC and have visited them all often.
