I am considered Long Bay Resort. Does anyone know if this is a good place? The reviews make it sound good...but I want to double check. Oh yeah, how%26#39;s the location? Is it close to fun things or will we have to drive? Thanks!
Long Bay Resort?We like Long Bay very much and their rates are quite reasonable. They really keep the place nice. It is in the north end so not very close to the main amusements %26amp; attractions but there are stores %26amp; restaurants you can walk to.
Long Bay Resort?Long Bay gets good reviews and its location puts you right in the middle where you want to be.About 6 miles from Barefoot Landing and the same from Broadway At The Beach. The Pavillion is 8 miles south and Murrells Inlet is around 17 miles away. Other good choices in the area are Forest Dunes with larger than most condos, and Grande Shores. To walk to any stores you would have to hike about 3/4 of a mile and cross over 17. There%26#39;s a great Itallian Restaurant on 79th called Villa Mare and Bonefish Grille is excellent.
TONYMIK/Anyone - What do you know about Sea Island on the Beach (formerly Sea Island Inn)? I believe it%26#39;s located in the northern part of Myrtle Beach (6000 N. Ocean) and will reopen this spring. They%26#39;ve launched their new website, but there are no pictures of the pool area, grounds or surrounding area yet. Any information would be great.
I just posted a review of this. We loved it, for a family that is. It%26#39;s not far from things. We stayed in a condo, can%26#39;t comment on the other arrangements.
