I am trying to find a site for a rehearsal dinner in July and live out of state so have not seen any of the local restaurants. We want casual and fun, preferaly Mt. Pleasant area. Does any one know anything about the dock area of Vickerys known as Muddys??

Vickery%26#39;s on Shem Creek is a nice location. Great for an after work drink, watching a sunset, or some most excellent Cuban food-only area in Charleston to get anything close. I wouldn%26#39;t suggest it as a site for a rehearsal dinner, however. There are some more intimate small Bistro%26#39;s where you could have a sit down dinner that might be a better choice... J-Bistro might be able to accomodate you as could the new Alair Bistro, both are pretty casual and fun, but more ...structured to do a party with a personal feeling.
