we will be visiting week of march 13th, with an 18 year old son. Are all or most of the attractions open? and do you know which rv park is the best? i want to be as close to the beach as possible.

You will find most of the restaurants %26amp; stores open %26amp; some of the shows, but not the arcades, water parks %26amp; outdoor amusements.
If you want to be south of MB, check out Pirateland (I think it was just discussed if you scroll down through the posts).

NasCar Speedpark stays open year round :) (I know my son always enjoyed the go karts there!), as does Ripleys Aquarium, most Mini Golf places, The Imax..so not everything shuts down once summer ends. And the Pavilion Amusement opens on 3/17 in the evening and then is opened on weekends until the end of May when it opens for the season.
If you want as close to MB as possible, Myrtle Beach State Park isn%26#39;t a bad option. Pirateland and Ocean Lakes are maybe 20 minutes to MB (depending on traffic)
